Just a small update to keep you up to speed. Still no movement on RT (frustratingly) However I have been keeping myself busy with a new project making a small documentary on a charity ride I am doing on the 14th of August.
Called Length of the Land its a 905 mile solo ride from Lands End to John O Groats on my L plated 125cc motorcycle. Its going to take 3 days and its in aid of UNICEF. The doco filming and planning is going quite well at the moment. Still need to finalise the bike cam etc but all going on shedule
Feel free to check out the events website for all the latest.

The Relevant Translation site has had a revamp to coincide with a new avenue of investigation as we try to get this project distributed. Check here for up to date info on that project : www.relevant-translation.co.uk
In other news I will shortly be taking the Words Are Not Enough site offline for a while. This is due to a disagreement with Paypal and my refusal to use their services any more. The site will be back up when the new code for Nochex is in place.

After a lot of waiting around and not much going on it turns out the distribution deal that was happening with Daves new DVD is not going anywhere. This leaves me in a very difficult position (not least with all the finances tied up in this project) so Im now having to search out new distributors. This will mean a delay of at least another month.
Sorry once again to those waiting to get hold of Dave Hopwoods new DVD. I wish the circumstances were different but things don’t seem to work the way they used to any more.
If you have any leads or suggestions for distributors please get in touch.

To date I am still awaiting for this initial distribution deal to be finalised. Frustratingly this is beyond my control and I have no firm date. I would still like to get the DVD out before the end of this month but that entirely depends on the thrid party.
Sorry once again for those asking about the project. As soon as I have more news I will let you all know.

The more observant of you will have noticed we’ve been a little quiet of late. This is partly due to a slight delay in the initial distribution of Relevant Translation : Signs, and partly to due Dave and I having various other things on at the moment.
RT: Signs is still (vaguely) on track for a Feburary release but obviously not the early Feburary I’d previously hoped for. We are also working on a new super secret project while waiting for RT: Signs to be released. More news when we have more

Today heralded the launch of The Imagineering Works Youtube channel with the addition of 3 micro-short films in the Relevant Translation series. Subtitled ‘Shorts’ this small series is designed as a taster to the DVD due to be launched in February.

I spent this weekend at Lee Abbey discussing the new DVD release with Dave Hopwood and others. The thinking at this stage is that Lee Abbey will be the initial sole distributors of RT : Signs BUT I will also be running an Amazon store selling the DVD to a wider audience.
Please get very excited about this DVD. It is the culmination of about a years worth of work and we think its a cracking product. Release ETA early February.

Yes the site, to all intents and purposes is now live.
However while working on something else I have noticed that with Adobes new flash player 10 the video previews I had no longer work with the flash player I’ve been using.
A bit annoying. I will be fixing that in the next few days.

Just when you thought we’d forgotten about you
I’ve been very very busy with various projects including the new Dave Hopwood DVD and so haven’t really done much to the website. However I realised that the previous system wasn’t working and have gone back to a content management system like this one (Wordpress).
Please excuse the mess as I rebuild the site. Estimated date of completion 6th Jan 2009.
